PADEL PROJECT GUIDE
What affects padel court cost?
A useful padel court budget covers the facility you need to open, not just the court kit. The total depends on the site, court specification and work included. This guide helps clubs, venue operators and developers compare quotations on the same basis before committing to a project.
Discuss Your Project
Separate the court from the site works.

A court quotation may cover the steel structure, glass, mesh, playing surface and net, with lighting, transport and installation priced within the package or separately. Ask for a written schedule so you know exactly what is included and which specifications are still provisional.
The surrounding work can change the overall budget substantially. Existing ground conditions, foundations, drainage, electrical connections and site access each need an agreed scope. A clear boundary between the court supplier and any groundworks contractor helps prevent gaps between quotations.
Compare like-for-like specifications.

Compare the proposed court format, enclosure, surface, lighting and finish, together with delivery, unloading and installation. Check whether the quotation is for supply only or an installed project, and whether taxes, professional fees and approvals are included or excluded.
For a multi-court venue, identify shared works separately from costs per court. Access routes, utilities and site preparation may serve the whole facility, so multiplying a single-court headline price will not necessarily produce a reliable development budget.
Budget for canopy and venue requirements.

If you want covered courts, ask for the canopy and its supporting works to be identified clearly. The roof structure, foundations, drainage, access for installation and relationship with the courts must be considered together. An existing court installation does not automatically provide a suitable base for a new canopy.
Also consider the everyday facility: player arrival, storage, rackets and balls, accessible circulation and the services your team needs to operate. These requirements depend on whether you are extending an established venue or creating a new operation.
Understand the full quotation.

Before choosing a supplier, compare the inclusions, exclusions, assumptions, payment stages and responsibilities. Ask which surveys or drawings are needed to confirm the price, who manages each work package and what could change the programme or final cost.
Look beyond installation to maintenance instructions, component warranty terms, reporting a fault and eventual surface renewal. Warranty periods should be read alongside the covered components, conditions and remedies; a single headline number does not describe every part of a court.
Request a project-specific budget.

Send ModPadel your location, approximate available area, intended number of courts and whether the proposal is indoor, outdoor or covered. Add photographs, drawings and details of the current surface or any works already planned.
Tell us your preferred opening period and the stage you have reached with landowner consent and approvals. We can then discuss the appropriate court, canopy and service scope, with the information needed to develop a meaningful quotation.

A little more clarity
Your questions, answered.
Does ModPadel publish a fixed price for every site?
No single price can describe every project. We develop a quotation around the court specification, site conditions, delivery and installation scope, with inclusions and exclusions made clear.
Can I compare a supply-only price with a turnkey quotation?
Only after adding the missing work to the same scope. Check transport, installation, foundations, drainage, power, professional fees and any canopy or venue requirements before comparing totals.
