COVERED PADEL SOLUTIONS

Padel court canopies.

ModPadel supplies steel-framed padel court canopies with an outer waterproof fabric roof. A canopy creates a covered, semi-open playing environment and can be considered alongside new courts or assessed for an existing venue. We bring coverage, layout, installation and site requirements into one project brief.

The canopy concept combines a steel supporting frame with an outer waterproof fabric covering. Curved roof trusses and longitudinal members create the roof structure, with the fabric stretched over the frame above the playing area.

The result is a covered, semi-open setting. The structure, fabric specification, fixing details, drainage and relationship with the court are developed together for the individual project.

Cover new or existing courts.

For a new padel development, consider the canopy at the layout stage. Court spacing, roof supports, access routes and foundations need to work together; the roof footprint is not simply the size of the playing surface.

For an existing facility, share the court layout and available foundation or structural drawings. A canopy retrofit needs its own assessment of the space and supporting structure before suitability can be confirmed.

Structure, foundations & drainage.

Canopy design must respond to the individual location. Clear playing height, structural loading, foundations, fixings and rainwater drainage all need to be resolved together with the court layout.

Planning and any building-control requirements should be checked for the proposal. The agreed scope should identify who provides the necessary surveys, design, approvals and supporting works.

Request a canopy proposal.

Tell us the site location, whether courts already exist and the area you are considering for cover. Photographs and available drawings help establish the context and focus the next conversation.

A little more clarity

Your questions, answered.

What type of padel court cover does ModPadel offer?

Our canopy approach uses a steel supporting frame and an outer waterproof fabric roof. The frame, covering, drainage and installation details are specified for the individual project.

Can you add a canopy to an existing padel court?

We can assess a proposal for existing courts. Send the layout, photographs and available foundation information so the required clearances, supporting works and structural design can be considered.

Is a canopy a fully enclosed indoor building?

The canopy solutions shown create covered, semi-open facilities. Open sides remain exposed to wind and wind-driven rain. Any additional enclosure needs to be discussed and designed as part of the project.

What affects the cost of a padel canopy?

The number and arrangement of courts, roof span, clear height, site exposure, foundations, drainage, access and installation scope all influence the price. An existing court does not automatically provide suitable canopy foundations.
